Collagen is a protein that is part of the skin’s connective tissue, which gives it strength and elasticity. Over time, connective tissue fibers become damaged, their diameter decreases, resulting in a loss of skin elasticity and firmness. Collagen hydrolysate can stimulate collagen synthesis and have a positive effect on skin that lacks smoothness. Matrixil® also stimulates collagen synthesis, regenerating connective tissue. Hydrolysed elastin improves the skin’s biodynamic properties and is suitable for skin that lacks elasticity. Lactic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid that, by promoting epidermal renewal, is excellent for skin that wants a youthful appearance. It is also an important skin moisturizer and is suitable for skin with pigment spots. Soy extract improves the skin’s moisture supply and helps reduce water loss.
